(4) In stark contrast to the hubris (swelling, insolent pride) of Hitler's Germany, Dietrich Bonhoeffer insisted on living according to Matthew 20.25-28. He would accept no title other than "pastor". At Finkenwalde Seminary he "avoided keeping others in tutelage"..only wanting to "help them"!
